Vic: Police resume search for Korean bodyboarder

Police have resumed a search for a missing Korean bodyboarder off Victoria's south-west
coast, with fading hopes that he'll be found alive.

A police spokeswoman says searchers focused on an area known as Marengo Rocks, near
Apollo Bay, where the 25-year-old backpacker went missing on Saturday.

Calm weather helped searchers yesterday, but he wasn't located.

The search will continue today with an ocean-going search vessel.

The man, who arrived in Australia last September, disappeared in rough surf off Apollo
Bay about 4 pm on Saturday.

His board was later washed ashore.
